10:15 "Find Your Moment": Rob Wicall, Former "Coyote" San Antonio Spurs (NBA), "Slapshot" Washington Capitals (NHL), "G-Whiz" Washington Wizards (NBA) shares his stories on Creating the Moment for Fans.

High School and Corporate Characters: ABC's of Mascoting, Developing your Character.

College Mascots Meeting: What's Your Biggest Challenge? We'll use a special tool to determine the biggest challenges for College Mascots and learn what others have done to deal with these challenges.

Minor League Mascots Meeting: What's Your Biggest Challenge? We'll use a special tool to determine the biggest challenges for Minor League Mascots and learn what others have done to deal with these challenges.

Major League Mascots Meeting: For the first time ever Major League Mascots from the NFL, NHL, MLB, NBA and MLS will meet together! Learn what it's like to be a mascot in another League and the challenges and successes they experience!

1:05 pm Audience Discussion: "What Did You Learn From This Morning?" Find out from Classmates of your Group and other Groups what the main topics of discussion were - and what your Classmates learned.

1:45 pm Panel Discussion: "Planning Your Skits". Learn from a panel of Pro Mascots what makes a great skit and how they plan them. This is a moderated session that will include questions and ideas from the audience.

High School and Corporate Mascots: In Costume Training. Learn from some of the top Mascot Performers!

College Mascots: Skit Writing Workshop. Take what you've learned from the Guest Panel and create your own skit with your Mascot U Team.

Minor League Mascots: Skit Writing Workshop. Take what you've learned from the Guest Panel and create your own skit with your Mascot U Team.

Major League Mascots: Peer Presentations. We've asked members of each of the Leagues to do a presentation on their Mascot Program.

4:30 pm The Mascot Hall of Fame is Coming!!! Former Phillie Phanatic Dave Raymond tells us about his visionary project, the Mascot Hall of Fame currently under construction in Whiting, Indiana.

10:10 "My Greatest Mascot Blunders": Robert Boudwin (Former "Clutch" of the NBA's Houston Rockets) will share some great lessons and stories on some of the biggest mistakes he and others have made in their characters.

10:30 "Fun Killers": Dave Raymond, (Former "Phillie Phanatic" and the Creator of the Mascot Hall of Fame). Dave shares his stories on the not so great parts of being a mascot and shares some strategies on how to manage them.

10:50 Inflatables: The latest innovations in Inflatable Costumes are shared by our Inflatables Sponsor.

11.00 Game Ops. Learn from a Major League Game Ops Person what their job is like, and how a mascot can best integrate itself into the program.

1:05 pm "Behind the Mascot Magic": Robert Boudwin (former "Clutch" of the NBA Houston Rockets) talks about putting magic into your act. Like Penn & Teller, Robert will show you magic tricks you can do, then show you how it's done!

1:35 pm "Using Video With Your Mascot": Video Producer Chris Bruce (former G-Whiz of the NBA's Washington Wizards) shares tips on using video in your act and on Social Media.

2:05 pm Break

2:15 pm Panel Discussion: "Making Props for Your Character": Learn from a panel of Mascots what makes a great skit and how they plan them. This is a moderated session that will include questions and ideas from the audience.

3:30 pm Video Awards: Watch the best videos submitted for the Mascot U Video Awards.

4:00 pm "Ask the Pros". In this moderated Panel it's your turn to ask the Major League Mascots how they got their job, what it's like, and what you should be doing to have the best chance of landing your own Pro job "In the Show".

 

Saturday Evening: Graduation Party

8:30 am Breakfast with the mascots - Queensbury Theater

All of the mascots from Mascot U are invited to join in on the fun with "Breakfast with the Mascots" for Families in the Houston area. This is a separately Ticketed Event - Attendance as a non mascot is not included with Mascot U Registration.

Mascots for a Cure World Record Attempt

 

Join over 150 Mascots from across the Nation as Mascots For A Cure attempts to break a Guiness Book of World Records record for the most mascots in in a syncronized dance! Help fight Childhhood Cancer by participating.

Don't have your costume with you? Mascots for a Cure will have extra costumes that will need Performers!
